佐野雅彦・Masahiko Sano

1972年,東京下町生まれ先祖は淡路島の漁師、5歳からスケートボードをはじめ13歳でサーフィンを始める。愛する母なる海に恩返しをしたいと思い、海洋ゴミの問題環境の解決のために20代前半から環境活動を始める。様々なプロジェクトをこなし地球環境回復をライフワークとしている

"As an educator, I am deeply troubled by my student’s fears about the future of our Earth. While governments constantly demand money to combat Global Warming and Climate Change, almost nothing is done to avert the real and growing catastrophe of plastics contaminating our sea life and food chains. I have dedicated my teaching to the awareness of this problem of plastics pollution and will work towards attainable solutions like the recycling of the Plastic Gyres in our oceans."
